The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City has an opening for a full-time Lead Licensed Practical Nurse.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing nursing duties in association with a Physician. Employee acts as a lead employee to support staff.
Requirements: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program and 24 months experience as a nurse and 6 months experience as a Lead LPN, Nurse Supervisor, etc. Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and registered with current active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.
Skills: Experience in working closely with physician faculty and nursing staff. Able to work in a team environment with a variety of people to assure the clinic works smoothly. Able to talk with patients regarding health issues.
Preference: BLS, experience working in a resident clinic environment preferred, strong geriatric background, proven leadership, nursing, and problem solving abilities.
