Human Resources Generalist - Compensation: 50,000-62,000 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking a self-motivated person to join the organization as a Human Resources Generalist.  The Human Resources Generalist should possess the skills necessary to assist the Administrative Director of the Courts and the General Counsel in developing and administering Human Resources programs for the Judiciary.
 
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:
Development and administration of the Human Resources function;
Recruitment and development of a superior, highly skilled workforce;
Development of an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, leadership and high performance;
Ensures compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations;  and
Employee Health and Safety.
 
Job Requirements:
·         Bachelor?s degree required in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development, or related field;
·         Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience;
·         Experience developing human resources programs for a small- to medium-sized workforce (government and/or IT experience a plus);
·         Knowledgeable of employment laws and practices;
·         Ability to conduct activities requiring a high level of confidentiality;
·         Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows / Office environment;
·         Superior oral and written communication skills, including presentations and training;
·         Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills;
·         Excellent problem solving skills and a high degree of resourcefulness;
·         Excellent organizational skills;
·         Specialized training in employment law, organizational development, employee relations, safety, training and recruiting preferred.
·         Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) certification preferred.
·         Certified Public Manager (CPM) certification a plus.
