MACHINIST/WELDER - Compensation: DOE in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Machinist/Welder
Local OKC company has open position as Machinist/Welder.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
1. Assist in operations and tooling of all machines located in shop.
2. Responsible for the set up, selecting the correct tooling and operation of all the
machines located in the machine shop.
3. Responsible for the set up, selecting the correct tooling and operation of all the
machines located in the machine shop.
4. Responsible for providing preventive maintenance on all machines and systems
required for day to day operations that is used in the machine shop.
5. Work with supervisors to determine the best way to either repair or reproduce parts
needing attention and the selection of raw materials to accomplish this.
6. Must be proficient at using close measuring devices and reading prints to assure
accuracy of parts being machined.
7. Must be able to operate a CNC mill and lathe, manual mill and lathe, OD grinder
8. Performs any other duties as directed by Plant Manager or Supervisor.
9. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment at all times.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to work Over Time as needed
Ability to be on feet during entire shift
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Must have own tools
Must have 3-5 years experience in Machining and Welding
Must have Welding certifications
